Double room was huge and the food was delightful. Cable channels, ironing facilities, and a writing desk were a bonus. The view was particularly nice, the service was terrific! The location seemed wonderful in the town close to everything.

couple of weeks ago I was in Mexico City and had the opportunity to stay at the hotel, room was the best, quite spacious and very comfortable. Unfortunately the lighting was bad because it didn't give you any sunlight during the day. cleaning service was the best, staff was very attentive at all times. location is unbeatable as you are just a few steps from Paseo de la Reforma and colony is very quiet and safe. beds are too hard, it would be great if they were a little softer.
The staff is generally friendly but not going beyond that (except for the room cleaning staff), they usually don't say hello and occasionally they smile at you. Something that particularly caught my attention is that after midnight they lock the doors and if you need to go in or out you have to bother the doorman, in my case in particular I arrived from the airport at about 2a.m. I was surprised to see everything closed.

I'm going to start by saying that there are a lot of people misjudging the wifi. Yes, I know it's necessary, but you can still buy a sim card and it's very cheap in Mexico. *The relationship between location, comfort and price* is EXCELLENT. The hotel is mega well located in the center, the price was very accessible compared to the hotels in the area. And I loved the attention of the staff and concierges, they even have free parking. . Breakfast is not included, but it costs about $9 and it's a delicious buffet. Very varied and they have excellent service. . The rooms are clean. THEY CLEAN THE BATHROOM AND CHANGE THE WATER DAILY! The recommendation is that you ask for your keys to be validated whenever you arrive because sometimes they get out of order. . In short, it is a simple, clean, well located and basic hotel. Yes, maybe the wifi is bad, but for me it wasn't a problem. I really loved it.
Price and convenience is awesome

location and cost/benefit ratio are the best thing about the hotel. It is located 2 blocks from Paseo de la Reforma (to the Angel of Independence) and from there it is easy to get around with the metrobus. staff was very attentive and friendly except at the reception. I don't usually eat at the hotel restaurants because the food is not always nice or cheap but here they do have good food and good service, they exceeded my expectations. Regarding the rooms: they are not modern but clean, I have no complaints. Additional comment: I was in rainy days and water cuts and hotel always had water available.
Well, when I made my reservation I checked the option to be picked up from the airport and then to confirm this with the hotel they told me they did not have the service so I had to manage on my own. On the other hand, I think they could be nicer in the reception, in all the other areas they were very attentive and courteous.

excellent location and restaurant is quite good, at a very good price, they invoice well
What can be improved in this hotel? hotel is already old, you have to invest a little. With the keys of the shower and sink you have to fight a lot to control and close them. onions are very full of scale and water doesn't come out well. curtains are short, water comes out from below and whole bathroom gets wet. rooms on the 5th floor have small round toilets, uncomfortable, they need to be changed for long ones. air conditioning doesn't cool very well anymore, pillows are good but very small, towels are very small too. TV is very small for the distance you watch it and they put it up very high. programming has few channels, bad reception, no high definition looks pretty bad. mattresses are very hard. I understand that this is very expensive to fix, would increase the cost of the rooms, it is worth it because it is a very good hotel and very good location.

easy access to parks and vibrant city life
I enjoyed my stay here, especially for its easy access to Chapultepec Park, perfect for city strolls and relaxing surrounded by nature, and its proximity to the vibrant Zona Rosa, where there are trendy cafes and local eateries just around the corner.

Favourable and stunning location to a famous monument. Well-maintained rooms with a nice view to and a huge double bed, as example, really nice stay! Pleasant and super-friendly staff, free wake up service and ironing available.

Easy to reach the city centre, close to Zona Rosa with nice restaurants and bars, walking distance to Reforma, cheap and comfortable, we spent only our sleeping hours there so no problems at all
If you like the 1960's feeling you will love this place...they charge you before every night (?) without telling you so make sure you tell them at check in if you want to pay in advance or at check out! otherwize ok for a small budget city hotel!

The hotel is well located for what we needed, three blocks from Reforma Avenue. The area is good and clean. It has a small parking lot, which is useful because outside you pay parking meter. Check in and out a little slow because there was only one person there. The restaurant is in the same hotel and is clean, the prices are not excessive.
room faced the back, where there are some fans of the general air of the hotel and land borders on a school. fans make a lot of noise and are turned on regularly and I found that annoying. Other people may not perceive it as noise, I did not like the sound and vibration. I didn't ask for change because I was already very exhausted from my trip, if I stay again I will ask for a room that is far from the fan. in the morning there is a lot of noise from children in case you want to get up late because of the noise. I don't know how much noise there is on the street side, there is traffic in Pánuco all day, on the Seine side it can be a little less noisy.

The Staff. The location.
The coffee is not very good. Coffee in the morning is very important and worldwide guests appreciate and desire first-class coffee. Internet is free in most hotels these days. The TV programming could offer more choices.

I've been using this hotel for over twenty years. For my professional activities the location is excellent. The staff is very friendly and strives to make your stay enjoyable.
Stop frequenting the hotel because of the progressive degradation of your instincts. In order to save a few cents, the hotel has chosen to provide its own maintenance since I have known it. When you arrive at the parking lot in the afternoon you will find a huge container in the entrance that contains the garbage. They will open a gate and you will take a ramp down to the parking lot. There the fourth part of the parking lot is dedicated to a multipurpose workshop. It looks messy and dirty. What a pity. It could be perfect! Also, some rooms have old mattresses and are not very comfortable. Hopefully the hotel management will understand one day that there is a serious company dedicated to maintenance.

I enjoyed the reliability of the hotel staff, the safety, tranquility, space and air co of the room. They also arranged fine taxi driver (important in Ciudad de Mexico) and I will be most happy to return. It is a rather small hotel, that has a charm of it's own, a fine kitchen and a good and economically attractive alternative if you are looking for something else than the Sheraton or so.
